Twilight Carnival and Pumpkin Fest
The Cordova Recreation & Park District & the Masonic Lodge invite families and friends to the annual haunted house and children’s carnival event. This fun Halloween event will be held Saturday, October 30 at the Cordova Community Center, 2197 Chase Drive, Rancho Cordova. The night will be filled with games, bounce houses, prizes, clowns, contests, AND a Haunted House too! Participate in a costume contest, pumpkin bowling, pumpkin smashing, a cake walk and more. Be sure to catch a ride on the hay wagon, and visit the bounce house! Refreshments and glow toys will be available for sale. Pumpkin Patch Pictures available for only $3 each!

When you board this steam engine, you will travel back in time, back to the old west…the undead west. This ride through the haunted woods and the surrounding land will be your only way into and out of The Deadlands, where the haunted houses await you. This ride will chill you to your bones, can you brave what is hiding in the shadows and fog?

Haunted Hagan Scream Park is back with three all new haunted attractions!
This newly expanded ‘Screampark’ will have something for everyone. ScaryU has joined with Cordova Recreation and Park District, Sacramento Valley Live Steamers and Heartstoppers Haunted House to create a Halloween event unlike anything in Northern California. Bring your family and friends to Hagan Community Park in Rancho Cordova, and join us in celebrating the most macabre holiday of the year!

FREE Fishing Frenzy at Hagan Park
Fish on! Cordova Recreation and Park District is hosting a free Fishing Frenzy informational clinic on Saturday, November 6th from 9:00am-12:00pm. This event takes place at Hagan Community Park in the rear pond next to the barn. Admission is free for the entire family.
This event is aimed at children ages 6-15, but everyone is welcome to participate. Anyone over 16 years of age must have a valid fishing license. The Fishing Frenzy features a variety of skill stations teaching fishing skills, water safety, conservation, and information on the best local places to fish, hosted by volunteers from the Sacramento State University Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Administration Department and the Sac State Bass Fishing Club. Don’t miss the fun games and a chance to win prizes during the event! All equipment is provided. This event takes place rain or shine, please come prepared for the weather. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
